Well I've had a fun weekend so far.
Yesterday I saw The Book of Life with my friend and it was awesome. 
Plus, I just got back from the Hetalia Day event in my state, and it was fun. I can't wait for next year. ^_^ I plan on posting pictures later or tomorrow.
Also, This is kinda old news for me though, I finished Blood of Olympus, finally! (like a week ago, but that doesn't matter.)
Anywway now I feel like drawing a crap one of fan art. XD

Bleh.
We were celebrating my moms birthday today, so naturally, all her friends went out clubbing tonight. So now I am in charge of no less than five small children for the night. I thought my friend could stay and help/keep me company like we planned, but she had to leave with her dad.
At two of them are sound asleep now, and the other three are content with waching a movie and likely to fall asleep on the couch.
Sigh.
Aaaand, now i'm bored.

GAH! I just took m AP English exam this morning. Finished just in time for my last period. Where I had two quizzes and had to begin writing a paper. A paper ,of which, my teacher is stalking. 
Oh my god I hate all this testing. 
We had computer testing last month. Right after SAT's. This week was the AP exams. (so glad I only take one AP class...) and next week we have more computer testing. 
I'm just a little dead inside.
To top off all the crazy, a kid got stabbed at dismissal the other day and it led to a shit ton of security craziness yesterday.
The only good thing from this past month was that I finished my college admissions essay for a program I sighed up for and won the contest they were having. So I won a bit of scholarship money.
Ugh...I know this sounds like a whiny journal. I just need to vent a bit.

On 21 of may, deviantart will be deleting all accounts. Not plz accounts. accounts ,  But just all name-wasted accounts, or accounts that we think are fake, or that are useless. We are doing this to prevent something that could possibly may happen in the future. If we find this message on your deviantID, journal, etc. We will know that your not fake.

If any of you guys know anything about teaching children, or anything of that nature, I need help.
My cousin needs help because she's far behind on her reading and is far from the level she should be in. While English is her second language, she has taken to it well and is fine in mathematics. However, she's having trouble in reading.
While I can understand the problem, (as I went thru a similar issue at her age) I've never actually taught or helped someone at school that was younger than me. 
I can understand her issue though. I didn't enjoy or excel in reading and writing until I found a way to enjoy it. So I need some book recommendations for a seven year old. From what I've gotten out of her, she seems to like comedy and magic. but no horror what so ever. And I'm trying to get her to branch out and try different genres since she doesn't read very much and doesn't really have a good idea of what she what kind of book she would like to read. 
So if any of you have tips on tutoring a child or have some book titles fitting her age and preferences, I would greatly appreciate it.
